“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food” – Hippocratus
Melanie has been working as a dietitian since 2019, with a passion for nutrition, women’s health, and pregnancy. That interest started during her first pregnancy in 2015, when she noticed that there was (at the time) little attention given to nutrition during pregnancy. She wanted to improve that in the future.
After completing her studies, Melanie began collaborating with various midwives. Since then, she has been supporting women with:
(Prevention of) gestational diabetes
Hyperemesis gravidarum (severe morning sickness)
Complete and balanced nutrition
Allergies and intolerances
Underweight or overweight issues
Melanie also provides support before pregnancy (for those trying to conceive, with PCOS, or endometriosis) and after pregnancy with nutrition advice regarding breastfeeding and responsibly losing pregnancy weight. Additionally, she has a strong interest in the behavior and psychology behind eating habits and specializes in emotional eating.
“ I have a great passion for women’s health. Besides that, my enthusiasm and empathy are characteristic of my guidance: I like to think along with you about where possibilities lie and want to help you with a healthier eating and lifestyle pattern for you and your baby! “
A warm welcome!
